Cantina Santa Maria La Palma has earned another important international recognition, winning three Gold Medals at the Berliner Wein Trophy 2026, one of the world’s most prestigious and widely attended wine competitions.
Three flagship wines from the winery stood out in the international competition:
Redìt Cannonau Riserva – Gold Medal
Aragosta Vermentino di Sardegna DOC – Gold Medal
Le Bombarde – Gold Medal
This achievement confirms the quality of the work carried out every day by the winery’s winegrowers, technical team and staff, all committed to enhancing the most authentic grape varieties and expressions of the Alghero and Sardinian territory.
The Berliner Wein Trophy is one of the most respected wine competitions worldwide, featuring thousands of wines from across the globe evaluated by an international panel of experts, sommeliers, journalists and wine professionals. Winning a Gold Medal in such a competition means standing out for quality, balance, territorial identity and overall excellence.
Among the awarded wines, Aragosta Vermentino di Sardegna DOC continues to establish itself as one of Sardinia’s most iconic labels, serving as an ambassador of the territory and Alghero’s winemaking tradition around the world.
Redìt Cannonau Riserva was recognized for its structure, elegance and ability to express one of Sardinia’s most emblematic grape varieties, while Le Bombarde represents one of the winery’s most appreciated labels, capable of conveying the character and personality of the vineyards of the Nurra region.
These three Gold Medals add to the many awards received by the winery in recent years and further demonstrate Cantina Santa Maria La Palma’s ongoing commitment to quality, territorial enhancement and the promotion of Sardinian wines in national and international markets.
An achievement that we proudly share with our winegrowers, our territory and all those who choose our wines every day.
