Vermentino di Sardegna DOC Sparkling Extra Dry

Akènta is an Extra Dry sparkling wine obtained from Vermentino grapes processed using the Charmat Method. Over the years it has become one of the most important and recognisable symbols of Cantina Santa Maria La Palma.
In the glass it presents a delicate, pale straw yellow, adorned with a fine and persistent perlage. On the nose it expresses fresh, fruity aromas.
On the palate it is savoury and elegant, with a refined style and a well-defined identity that evokes the character of the territory.
The name is inspired by the Sardinian celebratory toast “A Kent’Annos” – a hundred years – making it the ideal companion for marking the most important moments. It is no coincidence that over the years it has earned the definition of “bubbles of Sardinia” thanks to its widespread popularity.

Aroma: Intense white flowers
Taste: Full-bodied, fresh, soft and pleasantly savoury
Food pairings: Excellent as an aperitif and for toasts; also ideal with fish dishes, seafood and shellfish
