The wait is over: on Saturday, July 11, 2026, Akènta Day returns, the iconic event that every year celebrates the sea of Alghero, Akènta sparkling wine, and one of the most anticipated summer traditions in Sardinia.
The event will begin at the Port of Alghero, with participants gathering from 10:30 AM, before boarding the boats heading towards the Porto Conte Marine Park, where the highly anticipated emergence of Akènta Sub, the wine aged beneath the sea, will take place.
Akènta Day is a unique experience filled with sea, music, celebrations, entertainment and unforgettable moments, attracting thousands of visitors from across Sardinia and beyond every year. It is an opportunity to experience the territory from a unique perspective and celebrate one of the flagship products of Cantina Santa Maria La Palma.
How to Participate: Akènta Click Day
To experience Akènta Day aboard the official boats, participants must take part in Akènta Click Day, the initiative that allows guests to submit their participation request for the event.

Requests sent before 10:00 AM on Friday, June 19 will not be considered.
