Cagnulari is a red wine of strong personality, distinguished by the intensity of its colour and a lively freshness that accompanies its structure. The sensory profile ranges from notes of liquorice and forest berries to nuances of marasca cherry and spicy accents, closing with a persistent balsamic note. Cantina Santa Maria La Palma has played an important role in bringing recognition to this indigenous variety, strongly representative of the Alghero area and the north-west of the island.
