Akènta Cuvée 71 is a still Vermentino di Sardegna DOC that is highly perfumed and enjoyable. An alluring wine, it is ready to win you over with its floral notes and pervasive palate.
It is created from a selection of the finest Vermentino di Sardegna grapes, cultivated in vineyards with limestone soils, where there is constant exposure to the sea breeze, which endows the wine with full maturation and a unique taste profile.
The grapes are transferred to trays at dawn, when the breeze is light. Before crushing, the grapes are chilled to ensure that the aromatics remain intact; subsequently, fermentation takes place at 16 degrees, in steel, for a period of 15 days, followed by a long period of ageing on the lees, lasting 8 months. After bottling, the wine is refined for 2 months in the cellars, bringing its journey to an end.
Akènta Cuvée 71 draws its inspiration from the world of Akènta. It is an intense, emotionally engaging wine, with the capacity to fascinate even the most sophisticated of palates straight away.
