SPARKLING VERMENTINO DI SARDEGNA DOC EXTRA DRY
Akènta, the Sardinian sparkling wine that conquers from the first sip, comes from a careful selection of Vermentino di Sardegna DOC grapes hand-picked and sparkling in autoclave (Charmat method), where the yeasts enhance fragrant aromas and allow the formation of a fine and persistent perlage. Akènta is a precious and unique extradry, born in a large oasis in the north west of Sardinia: the Porto Conte Natural Park which for the first time assigns its sustainability label to this label, a recognition of its origin from a protected area.
The vineyards have rows exposed to the sun, caressed by the wind after riding the waves: this Vermentino is truly the Vermentino of the sea.
The name Akènta derives from the Sardinian “A kent’annos”, an auspicious saying: this sparkling wine carries within itself all the positive notes of good wishes, combined with the beauty of Sardinia.

Vinification and aging: soft pressing; after a first fermentation of 10 days at 15 ° C, sparkling wine is made in an autoclave for a period of two months during which the noble lees remain, in continuous agitation, in contact with the wine. The process is completed with a month of aging in the bottle.
Color: bright pale straw yellow with greenish reflections. Fine and persistent perlage.
Bouquet: intense of white and yellow flowers with a good fruitiness, which combines well with a light note of bread crust.
Taste: fresh, savory and salty with a fruity finish.
Pairings: excellent as an aperitif and ideal to accompany all dishes based on fish, seafood and shellfish.
